What happens after my Certification audit if I fail?

The Certification (External) auditor will inform you whether he intends to recommend a fail. He will then debrief you on his own findings and you will be given a copy of his report.

The report will identify major and minor non-conformities that must be addressed before you book another Internal and Certification Audit - at additional cost!

In some cases the auditor will not fail you outright, but will give a provisional pass subject to correction of non-conformities and an additional Certification Audit within a specified period. Any such extra audits will incur additional expense.
