You may fail because of a major non-conformity or you may be given
a minor non-conformity that needs to be addressed. In the event of a
minor non-conformity the Internal Auditor will expect you to make a
correction before attending a Certification Audit. In the event of a
major non-conformity you will require to take a second internal audit
at extra cost. See "How much does a re-audit cost?"
The Internal Audit report will be available to the Certification Auditor and it is therefore vital that the corrective action be firmly logged in the Issues Module and closed off by the Internal Auditor.
